I need help with my failing memory in finding three different paintings!I believe these are all 19th century at works, but...
1. Naked couple running through the forest with gauzy bits of cloth conveniently placed. At first glance, it could be Adam and Eve getting booted from Eden, but they're actually fleeing an impending rain.
2. Naked guy sitting on a rock with his head on his knees. Probably by the sea. He takes up most of the frame. I believe the painter is French.
3. Haughty woman with flame red hair and striking face, but it's not by Rosetti or any of the other Pre-Raphaelites as far as I can find. I believe she's reclining.
Thanks for any suggestions, as I'm stumped. I just looked at the Portrait of Madame X by Sargent and it's completely different from what I remember, so it's possible that CERN has done it again!![:lol:]( "Laughing")
