MUTOOLS • [FR]: Create new scene from currently selected or playing clips

Hi,

it would be useful to be able to create a new scene from the currently selected or playing clips (with an option to create them as linked or not)

Let's say I'm playing this:

1) Bassline on Track 1 on Scene 1
2) Drum beat on Track 2 on Scene 2
3) Drum loop on Track 3 on Scene 3

My next step would be to create a new Scene with those 3 clips together

Currently I would

* select the currently playing clips individually with shift key
* add a new scene (Scene 4)
* drag the 3 clips to the new scene (with Ctrl+Shift if I want them linked)

this is ok with say 3 clips, but if I have eg 8 clips across 6 scenes, it's a bit more fiddly

in the example below for instance I want to create a Scene 4 containing the 3 selected clipsEven an option to "Select currently playing clips" would be useful here.

However if say there are 20 scenes dragging them to a new scene on the end could be awkward. So another option for "Create scene from selected clips" would be good..I'm just not sure how you'd add the Linked Clips option in there with eg a key modifier rather than a separate menu entry
