I'm just getting back to using Studio One after a bit of hiatus where I hardly used it for years and have a question for more advanced users. I have a pretty large collection of hardware synths that I want to integrate into my S1 workflow and I've got them all configured as external instruments and ready to go. What I'm specifically interested in knowing is how to store MIDI CC names, patches, program changes, etc. for each synth the way I have them set up in Logic. If you're familiar with e.g., Cakewalk/Cubase "instrument definitions", then you know exactly what I'm looking for. I've been googling it, but everything I'm finding is very basic and mostly just explain how to set up an external instrument in the MIDI dialog box or how to use MIDI learn - not helpful at all for my purposes. But, I have found some information on "sound variations" and I think that might be putting me on the right track, but most of the explanations I'm finding are for orchestra keyswitching. Has anybody here done this in S1?
