This may be a really dumb question and I'm a very slow dimwitted snail who's just flat forgotten pertinent information on basic MIDI aspects & protocols but here it i'll just go ahead & post my suddenly naive query no matter how much of dunce it makes me seem like anyway i'll tooo be as clear as possible with an example that's precise yet a dope like me can kinda understand. I want to midi a 64 voice polyphony midi controller that has it's own General MIDI preset sounds plus built in speakers, a LCD display, & a really good velocity curve control for some sweet keybed action. Features alot of the Midi controllers that're outthere don't even have or even offer it's a solid instrument. It's the Midiplus EK490+ that i what to connect and hook-up via MIDI to the 24 voice dynamically allocated polyphony of a Kurzweil K2000Sv.3¡ Can or does the amount of polyphony on each these two be combined so that result's in the total number of voices that are played or utilized from each synth itself, do they only retain each's original polyphony number or more succinctly can the 64 voice polyphony controller/synth (EK490+) control the 24 note dva polyphony (K2000) in a complete performance or sequence & vice versa, if possible what's the MIDI configuration & connections to accomplish this kudos tooo anyone who understands the gist of what this seemingly lame brain question is murkerly trying to express and come up with somewhat of a knowledgeable or reasonable answer to reply with it would greatly appreciated kid's¡! thanx dude(s)
