No rant... just that you know if you install just with msix without any previous msi installation:
The previous msi installation has saved your personal changes like Behaviour, browser index etc... in appdata/local/Bitwig Studio...
After uninstalling Bitwig, this folder is still there and available for future installations... your complete personalization will be overtaken...
If you do now a complete fresh install of Bitwig using the new msix installers without having had any previous installations and therefore no appdata/local/Bitwig Studio folder ... this folder doesn´t get created anymore and it´s previous content is now located in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Bitwig.Studio.Beta_(some key number)\LocalCache\Local\Bitwig Studio\
There you´ll find now your "Cache" and "Index" folders together with all the other stuff and much additional in the parent folders...
The worse thing is now that this folder gets automatically deleted when you uninstall Bitwig... so beware to back it up before you uninstall anything otherwise all of your settings are lost!!
I wrote the support about this issue as I ran into this trap and lost all of my changes and perhaps they find a different solution...
They seem to be completely unaware of this new situation and have given me wrong information before I figured out by myself...
They told me before everything would behave exactly like before which is obviously wrong... at least on my machine...
