Hello,
I'm again looking for a sound from my Ensoniq EPS 16 sound library and have already tried out all the plugins in my collection in advance. Ultimately, I think I'm most likely to get the pluck sound I want (in the right channel) with Repro 5, Nemesis (Tone2), DX7 V (Arturia), Dexed and OPS7 - at least by ear.
Nevertheless, I would like to know whether and how I can recreate a sound like this, which sounds pretty simple at first, with some kind of plugin, although people who are familiar with sound design and know what adjustments to make can probably help me in order to achieve the most perfect result possible, which comes close to the characteristics of the original sound.
As a non-professional in this regard, it is clear to me that the attack phase is very short, as is the decay value. But other than that I'm not sure what makes this sound: distortion, reverb, chorus, compressor? It's definitely harder than it seems, otherwise I would have reproduced the sound long ago.

For a better assessment I removed the bass sound:

And here you can hear the sound during the transition to the next verse (again without bass):
