Hi,
this is a question / feature request.
How is it possible with Bitwig to mangle sounds in numerous ways but not to preview/audition a single current piece of audio material that sits between two onset markers, without having to move the play head? What I would like to do is left-click on a piece of audio and have Bitwig play it from onset to next onset (and stop there). Or even better yet, have a slice become selectable with a macro / rotary, along with a "play current slice" button, so both could be mapped to a midi control. I’d consider this such an essential feature for audio editing before actually having to slice any of the audio material.
What I would like to achieve essentially, next to audio clip editing being more efficient and intuitive, is having an alternative to some of my hardware samplers with Bitwig and a Midi controller, without having to have to rely on a mouse too much.
