Effects • Altiverb 7 Panning problem?

When i select some of the IR's, it reverses my panning or automatically moves everything to one side. If i try to pan it back it just moves everything but the panning is not in the same place as it was. The output is still stereo. But even if i take the mono IR, it still moves most of my stuff to the side and narrows it. I tried checking the sides only through a stereo shaper but that didn't help either. What am i missing?
