This is the first time I mixed and mastered a somewhat cinematic electronic track.
Tried to push some of my own boundaries.
I stumbled upon some choices I had to make, which were new to me.
i.e. How to mix the low end?
Do I need sidechaining in the lows or elsewehere and have it pump or is a wall of sound a better idea?
What about the tonal balance? Is it any diff from a dance track?
Till how many LUFS should I push this?
Is there a reference track in this genre?
I ended up with quite a lot of eq and fader automation![:lol:]( "Laughing")
Anyway, the meters and graphs in Span looked a little diff this time, but I hope the track is worth listening to.
