I haven't checked here for a while, it's become quite good. I'd say it's the best tracker, even better than renoise. It really is a mind-blowing bit of code, especially when you consider the fact that it's free on PC, it's a full blown studio that's very capable, and light on the CPU. A new version just came out, every year it gets better and better.

Hopefully I've turned someone on to something they didn't know about before, if you've used trackers in the past but never tried SunVox there's never been a better time. Or even if you haven't used trackers, and are sick of the VST game and want something that's all-in-one... You can design your own instruments and effects in it, or use other peoples, a lot is included with the DL, the community is generous with sharing what they've made. It's FM synthesis capabilities are virtually limitless, that's one thing that you won't see in anything that's not modular, and some that is. It has basically a version of PadSynth built in, that's a really cool feature. It's different from what you're likely used, and doesn't have wavetable synthesis but that's basically it. I'm going to start diving into physical modeling with it soon, I'm going to try my best to take inspiration from Noisy 2, it's a great synth and it would be awesome if I could get similar sounds out of SunVox. I'll have to see, I'm not sure my knowledge is up to par but that's an opportunity!

Anyway, enjoy the software if this is the first you've heard of it, if you are currently a SunVox user please say hi, I'd like to see how many of us are here :)
