A new Erae touch is in the works. The main highlights (according to Namm vid) are:
- Larger dynamic range for pressure
- New interchangeable surface types (black silicon or fabric)
- Improved sensitivity
- Dedicated button switches
- New LCD
- Embedded looper allowing for easy looping and offering quantization options
- Connectivity options such as multiple CV gates out and two MIDI outs for analog synths

I was personally hesitant in buying Erae touch 1 due to the issues reported in quality control with pressure sensitivity variation and a small pressure dynamic range, but this release appears to fix the dynamic range issue, at the very least.
